Michael shot up out of bed. The sun was shining through the broken blinds in his window. Steve was never the handy man type, so the cracks in the roof let the rain from last night in.
It was weird not going to school on a Thursday. Michael sort of wished that he hadn't gotten in that fight, because he really didn't want to be home right now. He slipped on a pair of pants that where lying on the floor, slid on a t-shirt, and grabbed his messenger back containing his sketch book and some pencils.
